Know your customer
Before a withdrawal is released we confirm your identity using a government-issued photo ID and, where needed, proof of address dated within the last three months. Documents are uploaded through your account and stored in private storage.
Ongoing checks
We may ask for updated documents, the source of funds, or an explanation of unusual activity at any time. Accounts can be paused while a review is completed.
Transaction monitoring
Deposits and withdrawals are reviewed before they are credited or released. We look for patterns associated with money laundering, such as rapid in-and-out transfers, third-party payments and mismatched account names.
What we do not accept
Payments from accounts or wallets that do not belong to you, cash, and funds we believe come from criminal activity. We do not open accounts for people or entities subject to sanctions.
Reporting
Where we are required to, we report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. We are not always permitted to tell you when a report has been made.
Record keeping
Verification records and transaction history are retained for the period required by financial regulations, after which they are securely deleted.
